Mayor Frank G. Jackson Announces Final Pitch Event and Selection of the Neighborhood Transformation Initiative Retail Incubators

CLEVELAND – Mayor Frank G. Jackson will announce the Final Pitch Event for the Neighborhood Transformation Initiative (NTI) Retail Incubator competition. The NTI expands on Mayor Jackson’s current neighborhood revitalization efforts, and focuses on private investments from Cleveland’s largest financial institutions.

The Neighborhood Transformation Initiative Retail Incubator Final Pitch: Through subsidizing rent and buildout costs, a retail incubator is given an opportunity to eliminate some of the main barriers to entry for entrepreneurs while testing their business at a storefront location. 

185 entrepreneurs applied to participate in the program, and through the course of interviews and public events the finalists were selected. The final pitch will determine which six retail incubators will be selected.
