Cleveland Water Working on Main Break on Richmond Road in Richmond Heights

Friday, June 7, 2019

CLEVELAND – Cleveland Water repair crews are working to isolate and repair a break on a 12-inch water main on Richmond Road.

Richmond Heights Police Department has closed Richmond Road from White Road to Swetland Boulevard. Drivers should find alternate routes.

Customers in the break area may notice reduced water pressure. Once repairs begin, water service will be temporarily shut off. The Cleveland Water water buggy is en route to The Waterford at Richmond Heights Independent Living and Assisted Living Community and will be available to affected customers.

Customers in the area may also experience temporarily discolored water during or after repairs. While unsightly, the discoloration is not harmful and should clear after running the cold water tap for several minutes. There is no boil advisory in effect.
