Cleveland Airport System Participates in “Soar with Reading” Program

Cleveland, July 23, 2018 – Cleveland Airport System (CAS) along with JetBlue, the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and Kids Book Bank are seeking the community’s assistance to help win books for children in the city of Cleveland.

JetBlue is hosting a “Soar with Reading” program designed to encourage a child’s imagination to take flight through reading and by getting books into the hands of children that need them most. The airline will donate $25,000 in children’s books and a reading room makeover for a local library or community organization of the city that gets the most votes.

Supporters are encouraged to visit to vote for Cleveland. The first round of voting ended, Friday, July 20 2018 with Cleveland in first place which qualifies the city to move on to the final round. The final round voting ends on August 31, 2018.
