Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Update

CLEVELAND – On Wednesday, September 11, 2019 Dominion Energy Ohio’s gas pipeline infrastructure replacement project will begin on the following street:

  • St. Clair Avenue – From East 49th Street to East 53rd Street.

The improvements include replacing the old steel mainline with a new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area on the south side of St. Clair Avenue. A work zone will be established in the curb lane only which will allow continuous two-way traffic along St. Clair Avenue. Traffic control personnel present to help direct traffic flow. A law enforcement officer will be present at all signalized intersections. Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction. All work zones will be removed at the end of each work day. The work on the project will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This project is scheduled for completion in November 2019.
