(City of Cleveland Wards 4 & 6)

CLEVELAND –   On Thursday, October 12, 2017, pipeline infrastructure improvements will commence on Buckeye and Woodhill Roads. Relocation of existing Dominion Energy facilities is required due to the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Doan Valley Tunnel Project.  Improvements will include the following roads:

    • Buckeye Road and Woodland Road – The southeast corner of the intersection.
    • Woodhill Road and Baldwin Road – The northeast corner of the intersection.

The project scope is to offset existing Dominion Energy facilities out of the way of the planned work by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Doan Valley Storage Tunnel Project. The curb lane will be occupied at both locations with traffic control personnel in the work zone(s) directing traffic.  A Law Enforcement Officer (L.E.O.) will be present at all signalized intersections.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction and the work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This project is scheduled for completion in November 2017.  For any sidewalk area(s) not restored prior to winter, 2” thick temporary concrete will be placed until permanent restorations can take place in the spring of 2018.

Should there be any questions, contact Dennis Scheid - Hill International at 216-701-2319.

Editor’s Note: Road construction invariably presents hazards to the public. All travelers are urged to use caution in construction zones. Public safety and the safety of workers is a top priority.
