Community Development

DAS manages the Department of Community Development’s Accounting, Budgeting, Compliance, Contract Administration, and Personnel functions. 

The Division monitors revenue and expenses from all funding sources, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the State of Ohio, and oversees both the development of the annual Consolidated Plan (federal grant application) and the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER).  

DAS also monitors departmental activities to ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws, the Uniform Relocation Act, Fair Labor Standards, the Environmental Protection Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act.
