Heartfulness Meditation

This series of group meditations is open to the experienced as well as those who have never meditated. There is no fee for these sessions and they will continue in June at Lakewood Public Library.

Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that benefits both your emotional well-being and your overall health. Research shows that meditation can combat stress, focus the mind and promote compassion, joy and kindness.

Heartfulness meditation uses the heart as the central focus of attention. Scientists have discovered the heart sends more messages to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. Focusing on the heart brings an added dimension to the universal benefits of meditation that exceeds simple stress reduction and improved focus.

Heartfulness is a simple practical way to regulate the mind and experience the heart's unlimited resources. During this program you will learn Heartfulness meditation with an experienced trainer who will guide you through the various aspects of the practice.

The Heartfulness Institute is a 501c3.

West Park Library sessions: 4/3,  4/17,  5/1,  and 5/15. All sessions will be held from 5:45 to 6:45 pm.

See Lakewood Public Library schedule for June dates.
