Roadway Improvements Update: Carnegie Avenue & East 79th Street

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland will begin making roadway repairs to the intersection of East 79th Street and Carnegie Avenue. The work zone will begin to be installed Tuesday, May 30th after the evening rush hour has ended. The work consists of making repairs to the pavement that has sunken. The work is anticipated to be complete by Friday June 2, 2017.

Carnegie Avenue will be reduced to one lane in both the East and Westbound directions at East 79th Street. No left turns will be permitted from Carnegie to either north or southbound East 79th Street. East 79th Street in both the north and southbound direction will be permitted to turn right only. Detours will be posted along East 71st Street and East 83rd Street for the duration of this project.
