Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Update

Thursday, August 24, 2017

CLEVELAND – Pipeline infrastructure improvements begin on Thursday, August 31, 2017 and include work on the following streets:

  • E. 84th Street – East & west sides from Quincy Avenue to Woodland Avenue.
  • E. 86th Street – East & west sides from Nevada Avenue to Woodland Avenue.
  • Woodland Avenue – North side from E. 84th Street to E. 86th Street

The project scope is to replace the old steel mainline with new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times on two lane side streets with traffic control personnel in the work zone(s) directing traffic. On Woodland Avenue, the north curb lane will be occupied. At least one lane of traffic flow in each direction along Woodland Avenue will be maintained. A Law Enforcement Officer (L.E.O.) will be present at all signalized intersections. Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction and the work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This project is scheduled for completion in the December of 2017.
