Hough Heritage

On Wednesday, November 15th, Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Councilman TJ Dow attended the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Hough Heritage affordable, elderly independent living development. The project is the senior housing phase of the transformative $165 million Upper Chester master plan, the vision of former Councilwoman Fannie Lewis. The 60 unit building will be one of many catalysts to revitalize the culturally rich neighborhood, while providing a critically important affordable housing option for many seniors unable to maintain existing homes who want to age-in-place in the Hough neighborhood.
