Selection Advisory Panel members will later meet in a closed executive session from 1 to 3 p.m.

WHAT: Earlier this year, the Office of the Mayor launched a rigorous, two-phase selection process for the new Community Police Commission. The first phase evaluated and shortlisted applicants for interview. The second phase is ongoing with two interviews scheduled on Monday, July 25, 2022. Interviews will be livestreamed on Zoom as part of our commitment to transparency.

In the afternoon of Monday, July 25, 2022, the Selection Advisory Panel will evaluate and discuss the candidates based on their application and interview. Deliberations will be held in a closed executive session for personnel discussions.

WHO: A five-member Selection Advisory Panel chaired by Delanté Spencer Thomas, Esq., the City’s Chief Ethics Officer, will conduct interviews with two candidates in the morning and then proceed to deliberations.
